I read other reviews about this product -- spent a considerable time because I wanted to make a good choice. Others were very helpful. One review talked about the feature of the little tray with a lid that holds the various tips. That was helpful to me because where else would you store them? So I felt that I had enough input from others and so far I feel that this is doing a good job to get out tiny particles of food, even though I am still flossing with regular dental floss. I have crowns on a number of teeth and over the years, my gums have started to recede, and this makes me more vulnerable to getting cavities. If any decay gets up into a tooth with a crown, it will be expensive, way more expensive than the cost of this water pik. Prevention is important to me.
I use my water flosser with Hypochlorous acid water produced with my Echo 9 Ultra water ionizer. The combination of the two provides a disinfecting cleaning like no other. I’m on blood thinners, the first couple of times using flosser created gum bleeding, now little to none as my gums are cleaner and stronger.
Hypochlorous Acid water is effective at killing STREPTOCOCCUS and Nectotyzing Fascitis, Hepetitis as well, great wound care devise.
I use this thing at least twice a day. Usually after meals whenever possible. I like the assortment of head attachments and that I can change the pressure of the stream. Reservoir holds a good amount of water as well. Excellent product!
I bough this machine on the advice of my dentist because of the water floss feature. And I love it. You think you've brushed your teeth clean...not ! This machine cleans particles of food out of your teeth you missed brushing. My complaints - I don't like the water control on the hand held unit. I'd prefer to push the button to have water flow instead of pushing the button to stop water flow...it's reversed in my way of operation/thinking. And the machine is noisy.
I replaced my old Waterpick with this one, and am I sorry that I did. The water tray drips water when you fill it and are moving it from the faucet to the machine, and there is no on/off switch on the handle; you have to hold the button. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this one to replace my old one which shrunk a leak after about 10 years. I find this one takes up too much room on the counter and the black color shows water marks and dirt in addition to not looking good on the counter. The water container feels flimsy. The machine itself does a fine job and I am pleased with that.
