My third one of same model in last 15-20 years so they do last. My hygienist always marvels at the health of my gums and I attribute to waterpik massaging the gums with the variable pulsating jets
Great when it operates, but mine is finicky Doesn’t always spray and has to be adjusted

Not as good as in the 1970s

Grew up using a water pick in the 1970s .Just tried new waterpik ultra 100 and it is more quiet than 1970s model, but not as good of a product. Messy, hard to keep water from dripping back down hand, no stand spot on outside for tips as old days so tip is wet when out back into top tip holding compartment. Pump started and stopped rather than continuous flow which makes me think that might be a continuous problem and maybe it is defective. Disappointed it was not better than it was nearly 50 years ago!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Jlars - We appreciate your longtime support and are sorry that you are not completely satisfied with the WP-100. There is definitely a trick to it. We have found the best advice we can give is to place the flosser in your mouth before turning it on, then make sure you look down into your sink as you go; keep your mouth slightly open so water can drain into the sink. Here's a link to our how-to video:https://youtu.be/6lWWbOqMhdQ. The model comes with a three-year warranty.
