It does its job, no doubt. But, its actually loud. I would say look up the reviews on the sound on the higher end models if that's a deal breaker for sure, theres no way your not going to wake up your partner or kids, especially your pets. Really good item still.

Decided to upgrade after years of wear on my old smaller, hand held version. I am very happy with the decision! The tank holds enough water at night for both me and my partner to floss. I love the tip storage at the top with varying colors of tips included (perfect for multiple people using it). I also love the clear difference in pressure with each level! I loved my old flosser, but this one is even better!

Hard not to get water dripping down the handheld part. I've even watched YouTube for ideas and still it drips. There may be mold in the handheld part eventually. I let as much water drain out at the end of the procedure and hope that will help prevent mold.

Hello gabbygal - There is definitely a trick to it. We have found the best advice we can give is to place the flosser in your mouth before turning it on, then make sure you look down into your sink as you go; keep your mouth slightly open so water can drain into the sink. For future reference, we do recommend that you clean the unit at least once a month and soak the handle in distilled white vinegar and water to prevent this issue. I hope I'm using it correctly, though I've watched instructional videos. But I'm surprised at the amount of food it dislodges from between my teeth. I wish I'd gotten this years ago - I wouldn't have needed so much dental work.
