[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Buyer beware - there are buttons on the sides. The only way to open the phone is to push the buttons inadvertently. We bought it for a business phone because we didn't want all that internet junk. This will do internet and messaging, but seriously, I don't think anyone would want to do that on a 1 inch screen with big letters. And that is part of the reason we bought it. It seems to work flawlessly as a phone. But we have found that the only way to answer it is to hang up on people and call them back. We don't do it on purpose - it's the stupid buttons on the sides. My wife will hang up just digging around in her purse - the buttons will be pushed by just the stuff in her purse. What do the buttons do? I have no idea. They aren't labeled. The left side looks like a volume control, and the right side, I have no idea.

Good phone

I like the phone, and prefer the basic features over a smart phone. The only problem I have had is that it is too slippery. I can't even hardly hang on to it while trying to answer the phone. I have had to put double sided tape on it to get it out of my pocket, and finally ended up putting on some non-permanent self-adhesive velcro in order to keep it in my shirt pocket, and to actually use it. Other than that it is fine, and I do like the phone. Fred

I have been using this phone for 2 weeks. The only bad thing about it is that there's no video camera. Other than that, it's pretty good. And the battery life is long.
Pros: easy to use

Poor quality - does not compare to the Revere 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had the Revere 2 which was a great basic flip phone, sturdy and reliable. The Revere 3 is definitely not in the same category. It is flimsy and poorly made. The construction is not as solid or sturdy as the Revere 2, the cover actually moves a tony bit as it is not secure. Also it is very slippery and after less than 1mth I have had occasion to drop it several times already. Definitely would not recommend

Too Different from the Revere 2

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Revere 3 now for close to a year and I do not like it. I used to have the Revere 2 which I loved, but this is like a completely different product from a completely different company. It is not as sturdy, the back cover falls off every time I charge it, and every time I put it in or remove it from the holster. The only advantage over the Revere 2 seems to be that the battery lasts a long time. I have gone as long as 10 days with out needing to charge it. If they fixed the back cover, made it more rugged, and put some kind of texture on it (cause it is a slippery little bugger and has been dropped a few times) and made it easier to open (the two halves are too flush and it is harder to open than the Revere 2)...Then they would have an amazing product....I still have my Revere 2 and I am thinking about reactivating it and throwing the Revere 3 in the trash where it belongs.

It has all the features I need. Phone is a little slippery to hold on to. Screen/key pad are easy to read, I really like the 1-button approach for the alarm clock and sending a message, super ideat!
Pros: no fuss no muss
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features for the blind or visually disabled
on September 5, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am legally blind and need a phone that has full depth readout! Features. This phone fits all my expectations and has a very robust voice control system and a full menu readout plus it has the feature of keypad readout as well. The only complaint I have with this phone and phones like it are that. I need a phone that connects to the Internet so I can update my contacts from Google or a program that will allow me to edit my contact book via my laptop. Unfortunately I can't find either of these features on these phones frowns. I would highly recommend his phone to anyone regardless of site impairment, because this phone never fails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone a while back and I've dropped it many times and put the parts back together. The battery has lasted a long time and so has the phone. I will buying another one if I can find a store that still sells it.
