I’ll tell you right out of the gate, it’s impossible for me to give this movie an unbiased review. I loved it when I saw it in ’87, owned it on VHS, DVD, and now Blu-Ray. It’s a story of true love conquers all that manages to be touching, heroic, inspiring, occasionally silly, and funny. The casting was inspired (Billy Crystal as Miracle Max has gotta be my favorite), and the characters are unforgettable. This film is destined to be a classic. It’s the kind of experience I hope I can one day share with my grandkids.

If you haven't already seen it, watch it – I’d suggest with someone you love.
