I already own this movie, but thought it would be nice to get a collector version + a digital copy. It's the 30th anniversary edition, but all they did was glue a single piece of card stock on top of the cheap, regular version. Super disappointed...

This is one of the truly classic films. It's a fantasy world filled with fully realized characters and a sly, sarcastic wit at times. I have watched this movie so many times I have lost count. Younger audiences may become bored with the fact that there are no explosions, CGI, or sky beams to fight at the end of the film.

Seriously, this movie is one of the best movies ever made. It is a lighthearted parody of fairy tales, romcoms, adventure/action movies, love stories, you name it. It's got fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles. Some of the most memorable lines in movie history, and a soundtrack by Mark Knopfler. One of my family's favorites
