My 2nd Favorite Movie

From the first time I saw The Princess Bride, this movie has been a favorite of mine. It delivers a wonderful movie on many levels: action, adventure, romance, and comedy. The acting is good, particularly Mandy Patinkin as the inimitable Inigo Montoya, and I can think of no one better to play vizzini than Wallace Shawn.
This movie has the quality that lifts it from simply a good or great movie to one of my favorites: repeatability. I have watched this movie at least a dozen times, and I'm still not bored of it. Plus, it has immense quotability! There are so many good qualities to this movie, it's inconceivable!
What's great about it: "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles... ", what's not to like!?
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

This movie has been around for awhile, but is one of my favorite comedies. I love the humor and it is also packed with adventure. I bought the dvd instead of renting because it is one of those movies that is great to have around and watch from time to time.
What's great about it: a funny fairy tale
What's not so great: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ever sinse I was born my aunt called me Princess Buttercup and now I know why. This movie is awsome! As I am writing this survay The Princess Bride is playing on the tv.
What's great about it: Thrilling, exciting, very funny, and just inconceivable!
What's not so great: There is nothing wrong with this movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not only do I own this DVD but every time this movie is on tv I watch it. The acting, the writing, directing are all great. It's such a great story and a great mix of characters played perfectly by everyone in the film. There are so many little funny moments and lines throughout and even the Cassio-sounding score with fake orchestra makes the film a little more quirky. The special features are great with a couple featurettes and other little bonuses. You can't go wrong with this.
What's great about it: Pretty Much Everything
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun movie and kinda weird at times but certainly worth seeing. That's really all one can say about it.
What's great about it: just about everything
What's not so great: old flick and has that feel of old...

This is a movie that everyone can enjoy. It's funny and full of romance. A definite must-see. One of the best romantic comedies I've seen.

I'd been waiting to get this movie on Blu-ray and was not disappointed. The movie is every bit as good as I remembered it and my entire family enjoyed it.
