I found setting up and using this printer to be enjoyable. Once I understood the command panel, I practice using it. Found it to be extremely easy and efficient.

I should have done this a long time ago

After pending many thousands of dollars on ink jet printer cartridge's the past few years, I should have upgraded a long time ago. So far I am very happy with the printer. Wished the toner cartridges would have lasted forever--- and unfortunately I did not have an extra set in the middle of the night when I was working and needed to replace...printer stopped printing-hopefully I wont let that happen again!

Excellent Printer

The MFC-9130CW is an excellent printer and works very well. It does everything the promotional literature says it does - crystal clear copies and at a very acceptable rate for home use. The LED display is clean and easy to read and easy to follow. Less than perfect observations are: (1) it was difficult to install - took a pro a bit more than an hour (2) The fax tone would intercept regular phone calls even when it was not supposed to, causing me to disconnect the phone line from the printer and reconnecting when I need to send or receive a fax. This is inconvenient but workable.

2nd Brother Color Laser Printer

I upgrade to the 9130 from the 9120 so I can print from my iPad and iPhone. I'm a pilot and use both of my Apple products for flight planning and while in flight. To be able to print forms for back up is essential. The 9130 is MUCH easier to set up with my wireless network than the 9120 was.

Replaced an MFC 9440CN with this one. Too early to be sure, but goes through cartridges like pop corn. When printing on Photo Paper, the edges smudge and don't appear to be fixed. Other than that, easy to set-up and use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a month of using this printer, I am very pleased with it. I thought it was a network hard wired printer and after receiving it, it's only WiFi via the network. I've had to tell it to print and item more than once to get it printed, of course, if your not careful, you will get several copies from the que. Overall, I love Brother printers and I've owned a few. I have two now that I use and their scanning software is the best I've seen. Great Product for the money.

printer, copier=great - fax=disappointing

I love the printing and copying features.
Sending a fax is fine. Receiving a fax is cumbersome at best. Setting the maximum rings to 4 before the fax picks up is of no use what so ever. My answering machine is set to 4 rings, and for some reason the fax wants to pick up before the answering machine. It is completely unusable at 4 rings. I have to turn off the fax machine receive mode which is not easy, until I know I am waiting for a fax. So the receive part of the fax is awful.

This all in one works great!!! I have no problems with the unit. If your looking for an color all in one unit. Then stop looking and purchase this unit. You will be happy!
