had a break down for 3 weeks, Brother, no help, waste of much time, After replacing all toners, and drums, on a 9 month old machine, the problem was a faulty black toner.
Now, after my last change of magenta toner, it places a red stripe on every page.

One thing missing otherwise great!

I love the printer but the one thing missing is Black Toner in High Yield. It's not available. Hope someone from Brother reads this and can get that available

excellent value for money

excellent printer, good software (less bloated than other brands), comes in handy and easy to use both on windows and Linux Ubuntu 14.04 LTS; scan docs directly to a folder on networked computer; saves times and hassle. Bulk scanning is very good. This printer has never deceived me. Just the built-in toner cardridges is goes quickly; don't wait to much to buy more... still so much cheaper than ink-jet printers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is a bit bulky which is my only reservation. However, it works well with Macs and PCs. Good price with great feaures

Good All in One

I prefer Brother products. Pros, great all in one and adequately performs all the functions. I ran into a couple of snags getting it installed and I had to call customer service several times, but when I finally got escalated, it was fixed quickly. Cons: the speed could be better and the ease of printing individual sheets and envelopes could be easier. Also a con is no high yield black toner.

I had an older model that I had used for over 5 years and had run thousands of copies through = it was time for a new printer! I am so happy to have chosen the MFC-9130CW. It is GREAT!
