perfect for small businesses

my home business requires a lot of scanning, printing and coping and this is better than any multifunction machine i have ever had. occasionally the printed paper will catch and curl. while scanning more than 13 pages, often more than one page will go thru the machine together, but smaller amounts thru the auto feeder is fine. the rack to collect pages which have gone through the feeder is not adequate to hold larrger number of pages and they will fly off once it is full with 10 or so pages. running several different weight papers thru the feeder, the thinnest occasionally jams. although inconvenient, these issues are manageable. its fairly large and too heavy to move between home offices. overall I love this machine ! I would recommend it!

Really Great copier

I bought this copies after mine went on the brink which I had just bought it a few weeks prior to buying this copier. I am so glad I decided to invest in brother I remembered I had bought a brother eons ago and I am glad they are still out there! Only one more thing I would love to see the prices of the ink to go down ot for all their copiers to go to individual smaller cartridges.

The printing in color is good,better than I was led to believe, while the black is very good. Until I have had the unit for 6 months or so I will not know how good it is in conserving toner resisting problems associated with periods of light use. So far toner use is encouraging.

Constantly sleeping

Your machine constantly goes into sleep mode. And then becomes unavailable as a air printer. None of my mobile devices consistently link to your supposed awesome machine. if I want my mobile devices to communicate with your machine I first have to go power it off and then power it completely back on every single time very inconvenient

Scaning continues to be problematic

Even after reloading software on both of my laptops - as suggested by Brother - if only on laptop is turned on the 9130 refuses to acquire the system and scan to it... it just goes back to sleep after trying to contact the system. NEVER had this issue with their 9330.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First experience with laser

After about 10 months of heavy use this printer started leaving gobs of black ink on the paper and the color was terriable. I changed the drums and changed the toner and within a month of terriable printing it's back to acceptable again.
I would recommend this to a friend!
