Love the product! This is my first laser printer and I am enjoying it very much. Does a great job in color and black and white. Prints quickly!

Flawless performance

Our first color laser printer for home use. We were frustrated by gummed up print head and ink cartridges on ink jet printers. The Brother printer cost more up front, but will pay us back with extensive use before replacing toner cartridges and what has been crystal clear print results. We’re very satisfied.

Using/owning a laser jet is so much better than messing with an ink jet. And yes, it is more expensive too. The MFC 9130 CW has some reports of limited service life. Mine is too new to tell yet. The support I received when the machine arrived was excellent. Using the fax with only one line is a bit clumsy. The replacement cartridges from Brother are very expensive and I have heard other brands (less expensive) work well. The scan resolution is much much greater than the print resolution so, quality pics cannot be printed. I knew this going in, however.

After only 50-65 pages I needed a black cartridge. This is NOT acceptable!

Laser printer - um not really good

This printer gives adequate quality results, however, I am going to return to using HP InkJet printers, better quality. The drum on the Brother is not very old and already needs to be replaced, thus cheaper to buy a new inkjet printer that lasts. Very, very disappointed with the Brother printer.
