Scan Feature Does Not Work

I have spent hours with Brother Support fine tuning the scanning features but within weeks the scanning stops working again. I shouldn’t have to reinstall the software and WiFi connection every time I need to scan a document.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does everything I need. The scan function is a little clumsy and time consuming but otherwise I’m really happy with it

This printer is pretty good. But, as usual the toner refills are outrageous! This one is my second one. The first one developed a rough spot on the roller that married the paper. this one is a refurbished unit, which cost less than the part and service to replace the defective roller. So far, so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use

The printer is very easy to use once you have it set up. If you are accustomed to a small inkjet printer, be prepared for a larger size and it is heavy. I previously owned a laser printer but wanted one that printed in color. This one does the job very well.

Works like a Champ

We use the printer for copying, scanning, and printing both mono and color. It has performed flawlessly. No smears, jams or any other issues.
Prior to purchasing this Brother unit, we had an older Brother MFC monochrome that was a workhorse. When we decided to go color laser, purchased a HP MFC Laserjet. Bad decision. Had it for a year and never resolved the problems. Gave it away and purchased this MFC 9130CW. Great machine. Set it on the credenza, plugged it in, ran the software install, and never looked back. Totally satisfied.

Has some great features

Like the fax, scan features. You can send easy and scan in an email which saves time. Like the size of the unit - smaller. There are only two things I don't like - the expensive cartridges - wish you got more copies for the price of the cartridges. Also, wish it did double sided copies. You copy one side, then you have to put in paper tray and copy the other side.
