Great Game

This is a great game with lots of replay value. The song selection was excellent for anyone under the age of 30 (mostly newer songs, unlike past guitar hero games). Battle mode is really fun, but you have to be able to find someone who plays at the same level as you b/c sudden death mode is brutally unequal (thus unfair) if you're playing on hard/expert against someone on medium. The death drain in sudden death drops faster on hard/expert no matter what % you play compared to the other person. Aside from that, the only other complaint I'd have is that the hammer-ons/pull-offs are often in unnecessary places or not where they should be, making a song way more difficult than it should be (see Reptilia). Overall, a great game. Loads of fun and definitely worth the money!
What's great about it: Song list, replay value, gameplay
What's not so great: tier 7 and 8 songs are insanely difficult on expert
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was an item I purchased for my 12 year old son. Instead of him just playing it, we all play it. From a 7 year old to a 47 year old. Great family entertainment!!
Great songs to sing to along with while playing. Excellent graphics.
What's great about it: Great graphics and songs
What's not so great: NA

I bought this game and it is SO MUCH FUN! I play it all the time. It is so much fun. I recommend it to everyone because you could buy it for your kids or for yourself , and it would still be fun.

This is a great game that everyone should get. I would recommend this game to anyone. The new songs are great and fun. The last couple of songs in expert mode are extremly difficult but still fun.
What's great about it: Songs are great. Multiplayer mode is awesome
What's not so great: Wireless guitar seems to lag sometimes
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best video games out there. This game is a lot of fun alone of with multiple people.

I bought this game after playing it twice...Great investment. I have played it since the beginning of 2008 for about one hour every night! It does take a long time (about a minute) to save, but that may be because I have the older PlayStation. Also, it's one of those games where practice actually DOES make perfect.
What's great about it: BEST song selection, guitar battles, and more songs
What's not so great: Long saving time
I would recommend this to a friend!

BEST GAME OF 07-08

I got this sweet game for Christmas and i haven't stopped playing since! It is definately one of THE best games out right now. It has a lot of my favorite songs on it and i play constantly. I love the way the controller is made, but I'm not sure if it is easier to play a real guitar or that game.
Any way, the game is really worth the price and is great quality, i suggest you get this game.
What's great about it: Closest as you can get to playing a real guitar, great songs, sweet controller
What's not so great: Jimmi Hendrix isn't in it
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love guitar hero. This is a very fun game. Great sequel in an outstanding series. Only complaint I have is the relatively long loading times compared to other systems; however, I think this is just part of the ps2 and not so much the game. Great songs on this game, better than GH2. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: very fun game
What's not so great: loads slowly
I would recommend this to a friend!
