I was a little scared, you know that the quality would be only good. My fear was unfounded. This 4K IS Reference Quality. No Marvel or Fast & Furious movie on 4K holds a candle to this copy.
It is so good that it may be years before anything comes close.
Hear that Cameron?! I dare you to top this with Avatar on 4K.

You better pick this up at BB before people sell this on ebay for some crazy price.

A Kubrick Classic in stunning 4K !

What more can be said about
2001 : A Space Odyssey which hasn't already been either written or spoken? Stanley Kubrick co-wrote the screenplay with Arthur C. Clark and like in all of his films, his use of camera work, lighting and visual effects were groundbreaking for their time. The use of Strauss'
"On The Blue Danube" waltz being played during several of the outer space scenes was a stroke of genius. The film itself
asks the question of who or what is out there among the stars beside mankind? The film also touches on the topic of Man VS. Machine, something that was way ahead of it's time. The 4K Scan is simply beautiful to look at. The Audio & Soundtrack are both much better than the previous ones that came on the Blu-ray. This is a great film, a Must Have for any film buffs and an Essential for all Science Fiction fans!
