This Blu-Ray edition simply offers the movie in better clarity than DVD. That is the only advantage of this over the DVD Special Edition release, which was loaded with behind-the-scenes bits. I know a lot of people don't bother with home video disc extra features, and I usually only watch those once, but this does not even have a menu or chapters. Most Mill Creek Direct produced discs are cheaply produced, without proper menus and with poor packaging. Still, if this is priced really low and you want to watch the movie with better clarity, it serves that purpose.

Evil Dead 2 Dead By Dawn the movie that made Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) an antihero icon..!
This is a must own for everyone who loves horror , superhero , action , sci-fi and fantasy film fans everywhere..!
The Ash character is the hero for the everyday middle age , lower middle class retail blue collar workers everywhere and it represents true America..!
To say I recommend this great 4K Ultra Blu-Ray is an understatement..!..!..!..!

Given that this Blue-Ray release is only marginally better than its standard dvd counterpart in terms of image quality, and because some of the bonus features available on many of the standard dvd releases are missing, I simply cannot recommend that anyone bother paying good money for this item, especially if they already own a version or versions of the previous dvd releases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This predecessor to 'Army of Darkness' is ok, but is not as good as its sequel, and will not be enjoyed by everyone. Good anamorphic presentation and bonus features fans will enjoy.
