awesome movie it rocks from the very begining to the very end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my favorite scene in this movie is the tar man movie scene!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cult classic Day of the Dead is film that has definitely grounded the science of the living dead for me! It's a must own! Just wait for the climax!

I'm a huge fan of George A. Romero and his culture conscious Horror films. He is an ingenious writer and director and the creator of the zombie genre as we know it. Nothing Zombie would exist without Romero.
I've owned Day of the dead on virtually every media standard throughout the years, and have even owned multiple DVD versions, as well as the previous Blu-ray release. I can honestly say after owning this film at least 5 times...nothing compares to the Scream Factory/Shout Factory release! These guys cater to the fans, great new features as well as sometimes even tracking down the rights to original songs that have been stripped out of certain films. Their film releases definitely cost a bit more, but wow are they worth it. This is a definite buy whether it's your first viewing or your 100th!
