I ordered this machine because ours died. Shipping took a ridiculously long time. The machine is fine, except for the fact that the pot is not lined up correctly for proper pouring and leaks all over the place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the second programmable, 4-cup Mr. Coffee I've bought. The other wore out after many(!) years of hard labor. I love that it automatically turns off after an hour. No more leaving the house and wondering if I remembered to turn it off. It makes a good cup of coffee and just the right amount

Just bought a replacement for our old Mr Coffee 4-cup coffee maker. We are very disappointed that the clock does not light up, making it very difficult to see the time. We are going to return it.

This purchase replaced the same model pot that I had for six years before it finally gave its last cup. Hope to get many years of service out of this one. Would like the top of unit to be made of a sturdier plastic, like the older model, but this should be okay. Brews quickly. Keeps coffee hot!

This is a replacement for a previous identical unit that finally died on me. I use this 7 days a week and the programmable feature is a big deal for me. However, this unit does not have a lighted display, and that is VERY disappointing.
