Exactly what I need

We have used this Mr. Coffee programmable coffee maker almost everyday for about 8 years. We need a new one because, I think, the insides are starting to deteriorate and I am getting pieces of "something" in the carafe. I am getting this same item again because it is perfect for us!

Have one already - managed to break the carafe. Hard to believe, but a whole new coffee maker, with promotion and free shipping, actually cost LESS than just a replacement carafe!

This is a replacement for the 5 cup coffee maker. So far so good. I will say the plastic is very flimsy . I remember these coffee makers being much more sturdy and durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent coffee maker

I had the same model for 7 years and it finally began to have problems. After one month this new coffee maker is working perfectly. It makes great coffee. Older model had a lighted clock - this new model has black non lighted numbers on a white background. It is ok during the day but cannon be seen in low light.

Love it, except for one gripe!

My husband and I have three of these. One at home and one, each at our job offices. The only problem is that the glass carafe has chipped and/cracked at some point. Replacing the carafe, itself, can sometimes cost just as much as a new unit. It's happened again, but to the one at work and I don't want to replace the carafe with another one that will, most likely, crack/break in the future. I would much prefer a stainless steel option for the 4-cup, but there is no other option. The 5-cup is bigger than my liking, so I may have to look elsewhere for what I want. If they would just create a stainless steel carafe for this size, it would be absolutely perfect!

Troubles with light

I bought this about 3 months ago and I'm having trouble turning it on. The green light won't go on in the first try. Sometimes it takes a couple times to switch the flip, other times it takes me unplugging the coffee machine 2 times with multiple tries of switching the flip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
