My husband and I purchased this vacuum about three months ago now and couldn't be happier. I thought thay my carpets were clean...until I used the Bissell! We have three cats who seem to shed constantly, and this vacuum really picks up the hair and dander. Even friends who are allergic to cats can breath easily!
The extra long hose is great for cleaning the stairs too.
What's great about it: Gets carpets truly clean.
What's not so great: Not a quiet vacuum...is there such a thing?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this vaccum cleaner on what these reviews had to say. They were all right. I have 3 cats and they shed hair on a regular basis. I used to get frustrated trying to get every hair out of the rug and carpet because it would take a long time to do so.
Now, with this product, it takes at least 3 minutes to do depending on size of the rug or carpet. It's also easy to dispose of. I just remove the canister and empty it out and place it back in. That's it.
It's so easy to use and clean. I am very happy with this one. The price is right for the product!
What's great about it: Everything!
What's not so great: None.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Vacuum especially if you have pets!

I have bought several vacuums over the years everything from cheap to paying over 1,000 dollars hoping that something would actually work to keep my home clean. After another vacuum died I went looking for a new one, after doing the research I found that this one is cheaper than the Dyson, which was what I wanted, and worked better.
Once I got it home I was amazed and grossed out how much pet hair and dirt came out of carpet in just the down stairs and the furniture. I love that the attachments still work and I have no problem getting it up and down stairs. It is a little louder than the other vacuums I have had in the past, however it cleans my carpets so I will live with the noise.
I love Best Buy, it has made shopping even that much more fun, with so many people who write reviews you know you are getting a great product and not some piece of junk that won't clean you carpets!
What's great about it: great sucking power, attachments work all the time!
What's not so great: a little on the loud side
I would recommend this to a friend!

When my previous Eureka went belly up after only 6 months, I decided I would be more particular about my next vacuum. I have a friend who owns a Dyson and I borrowed theirs. It worked well but I just could not justify spending that kind of money on a vacuum cleaner. I read the good reviews on Best Buy's website about the Bissell and decided to go with that one. Wow! It pulled more dirt and hair than the Dyson did. I have been very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone. I have three kids and a collie dog and it cleans behind them great. I will be a loyal Bissell user from now on!
What's great about it: Deep Cleans, Great Attatchments
What's not so great: None
I would recommend this to a friend!

We built our home less than a year ago and I can't believe the amount of dirt this unit captured the first time. The carpet is soft and looks great again. The only bad thing is be prepared to clean the filters as this vacuum will pickup everything your old vacuum has left behind.
What's great about it: Price, Attachments, Power
What's not so great: You'll see how dirty your house really is...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Machine

We were a bit reluctant to buy a Bissell based on past experience but took a chance on this model because of the reviewer comments and high rating. We have had this vaccum cleaner two days now and my wife is very happy with how much dirt and hair this machine picks up- Even after using other vacuums and cleaners. And I am amazed at how great this thing works. The only thing remaining is to see how long it lasts. For now though, we are very pleased with it. And we appreciate the fact that the other reviews were here to read.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I dont what the problem is but i have gone through at least 5 vacuums in only one year. I have kids so they get used quite a bit. This vacuum clogs all the time. And finally also broke. I decided to buy this product based on the reviews. But i am now disappointed. 6 Vacuums Down and counting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just bought this today. Made our carpet look 10 times better than it did before. We had our carpet cleaned by professionals and it still had dirt marks. After using this thing those dirt marks came out.
What's great about it: Works great. Love the pet attachments.
What's not so great: Heavy. Hot air blows on me from the filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!
