This is my first MP3 player and I absolutely love it. I was thinking about an IPOD, but decided I liked Sony better. I love the Best Buy Music Store. Just click on a song and drag it to your player. Simple and easy! I have to figure out how to transfer movies and videos now. I would recommend this to anyone. The sound is crystal clear. I love it! I bought my daughter a cheapy $50.00 MP3 and its so sad, I am thinking about going and getting her the black one. I have the pink one. AAA+++
What's great about it: transfer music quick and easy, crystal clear music
What's not so great: N/A
I would recommend this to a friend!

AMAZING!

I was thinking about gettin one of the new ipod nanos, but i saw this one and fell in love w/ it. It had all the same features, such as video and pictures, and the best part....it was almost $100 CHEAPER!!!!!!!!! Amazing quality. I give it and A++++++++
What's great about it: clear screen, amazing sound, cool color, etc., etc.
What's not so great: earphones are kindof weird, but usable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good first mp3 player

This is my first ever mp3 player. I did a lot of research and for the price this player has some of the best features around. It looks great, has excellent sound quality and so far has been easy to use.
Only a couple things I have had any problems with.
1)The reviews I read all said that great headphones come with this mp3 player came, no need to purchase new ones. But I find them weird. The whole cord is a bit short. You will need to add the extension. My problem is where the cords go into your ears, one side is about 6 inches longer. Maybe to put the headphones around the back of your head. But if you put them up front, one side sticks out...
2)Rapshody/Best Buy store has frozzen a couple times. Error messages
What's great about it: Sound quality, ease of transferring files
What's not so great: Headphones are weird; No FM Tuner
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been through several MP3's from RCA to Samsung and all have failed to impress.. i have had several of them give out on me.. none of them sounded as good as this little sweetie.. i just bought this several days ago but i am already impressed with the sound quality.. the earphones were a little funky but they sound great! the picture that is shown does no justice for the beautiful metallic rose color that i absolutely fell in love with.. this seems to be the keeper.. now i just need to figure out how to get videos on it.. i have downloaded just about all of my music and most of my pictures on it.. and i still have plenty of room!! This was the best buy that i could have made.. thank you sony!!
What's great about it: Great sound, size, color, price!
What's not so great: none!
I would recommend this to a friend!

i bought it last month, and found it has wonderful sound, doesn't give pressure to ears and you can enjoy the music for hours without feeling any discomfort. i have used several other brands but i always had complaints about the ear pain due to sound... battery goes for longer than most of others and has nice features to adjust according to your need.
What's great about it: good features
What's not so great: no FM
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am 35 and this is my first tech purchase. It easy to use. I didn't need any help to figure this item out. The CD was very helpful. The battery holds up well. It's great.

After my wifes mp3 player lost it's ability to keep a charge, I decided to try this sony out. Has great reviews and every thing I own is sony! So I figured it would be very compatible with everything. Easy to use, better sound than the nano and cheaper. We are having problems though.
1. Have not seen any art work, possibly user error! However I do consider myself pretty much GADGET FRIENDLY!
2. The sound has a mind of its own, will get louder, then get quiet, loud etc. That I believe is not a user error! I know how to load an mp3 player!
Thats that so being that it has great sound, when working, i'm going to exchnge the walkman for another walkman and hope it was just a bad player. Rec. to anyone.
What's great about it: Best sound, I mean amazing!
What's not so great: acesorries, not enough yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a good value for the money. Trying to find something that isn't specifically for Apple is hard though.
What's great about it: More music for the GB
What's not so great: The accesseries are harder to find than Apple
