One repair after another

3 years, 3 major issues. LG does not stand by their products. Here's an example: 3months...ice maker/thermostat...covered by warranty 1 year and 1 month...some sort of motherboard that makes the unit run quietly. Apparently everything is covered except the part that makes everything else run normally. 3 years...another ice maker issue involving a leak.
I've been on hold for over 30mins waiting for a supervisor...no checking in...i'll hang up and let the Better business bureau handle it
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Multiple service calls, expensive and broken

This has had problem since the beginning. The control board was replaced less than 6 months into ownership, the outside control panel delaminated after about 2 years. The compressor was replaced 4 months ago and has failed again. LG refuses to cover this repair. DO NOT BUY and LG Refrigerator.

Good and Bad

Love the fridge but love my Best Buy warranty even better! The unit died within the first year. Wasn't cooling. Tech came out and wanted to order a mother board but couldn't tell if that was the issue. So instead, they replaced the whole fridge, no charge. The new one came in with a defective ice maker. Again, they replaced the whole fridge, no charge. We're on our third and so far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed! Just not happy with the vertical bar between the two doors. It doesn't always flip back so when you close the door, it slams and doesn't close all the way. Jams on the right side door. Poor design I guess. We have a counter depth model and it's just not big enough for a family. looks nice, but not big enough.
Just got my frog two weeks ago and am enjoying the great features like French doors and drawer for either frig or freezer. Still getting used to where things are in the frig. The only thing I am a little disappointed in is the small size of the icemaker. However, this design allowed me to have more frig space so I do like that.
I bought this refrigerator 3 weeks ago. Cons: outside smudges easily; ice make became jammed 2 times in first 2 weeks; face of water spout became scratched with every time I used the water spout. Pros: ice maker on door of refrigerator, so more room inside refrigerator; plenty of room in all spaces, easy to see everything in refrigerator, very quiet.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I HAVE REFRIGERATOR LMXC23746D AND HAPPY WITHG LG SERVICE! I HAVE SERVICE FROM LG IN 2 DAYS AND MY REFRIGERATOR WORKING VERY GOOD AFTER CHANGING COMPRESSOR. ARMEN FROM LG TECHNICAL SUPPORT IN BURBANK CA ARIA VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE SUPPORT FROM SEARS SOOO BAD, THEY DO NOT FIXING REFRIGERATOR FOR A TWO MONTHS.SEARS ADDITIONAL INSURANCE IS UNDERMINES LG's REPUTATION. BUT LG SUPPORT ORGANIZING EVERYTHING IN 1 DAY, SECONG DAY EVERYTHING WAS WORKING LIKE SHULD BE!!! THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME BACK TO A GOOD LIFE!
