Purchased new in 2018, compressor went out. Called LG, it took about 12 days to get fixed. Was covered by warranty so happy for that. Dealing with the LG call center people is not very easy.

Problems with this fridge

We have had 3 or 4 repairs done for the same motherboard on this fridge, costing us money out of pocket. It is currently undergoing repairs costing more money. I believe I saw a class action lawsuit related to all of this. I strongly recommend you to not buy this fridge.

Worst refrigerator ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never had a refrigerator that broke within the first month, and continue to not cool, not produce size, and had two compressors replaced in the last two years. Now I have water on my floor even though the refrigerator is completely cool after the second repair. There’s no water coming from the waterline, but probably an internal hose. It’s going to cost me at least twice. The refrigerators cost to repair it. Don’t buy this one.

Currently sits unplugged in my kitchen

Certainly did not expect this refrigerator to only last 6 years before the compressor went out (like so many of them do) and currently it has been 3 weeks waiting for parts/repairs. Most area techs told me they refuse to work on LG's, and they are known for bad compressors. I will likely not have a working refrigerator in my kitchen for several more weeks.
