Worst Customer Service Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this refrigerator for three years, and I'm already having issues with it. It is not maintaining temperature and the ice maker has stopped working. I have called customer service several times, and talking to them is a complete waste of time, and an effort in frustration. The agents are obviously reading a script of questions, which was fine for the first call. However, when the problem was not fixed by the service technician they sent out, trying to explain this to the agent was almost impossible. It took me almost 30 minutes of repeated explanation. They sent the service person back but did not tell them anything I said, so when he arrived he said the refrigerators sometimes come from the factory low on Freon and it just needed a charge. A week later I'm still having the same issue, call customer service again, only to be put on hold 6 times over 25 minutes, to be told that a service technician appointment cannot be found and someone would have to call me back within the week when something becomes available. This is completely unacceptable, and without a doubt the worst customer experience ever. From this experience alone I will never buy another LG product.

The worst refrigerator ever!!

Every year there is an issue with this refrigerator since I bought it. The same issue - ice maker stops making ice, and the freezer stops working. Called the repair people they take 2-3 days to come and it starts working again, by the time they come only for the issue to reappear the next year. It finally stopped working for good in year 4 and the repair person said that this is a common issue with LG refrigerators the - the compressors don't last. They replaced the compressor and less than 3 months the same issue reappear.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought 6 years ago, and have had 3 compressors replaced, sensors, and a door replaced. Possibly we got a lemon of a fridge, or more likely this whole line of fridges is terrible .
We really regret getting rid of our old fridge because it worked fine and thought we would treat ourselves to something nice by buying this and it ended up costing us hundreds of dollars in spoiled groceries and a freezer full of ruined breast milk for my child.
On a plus side LG has been responsive in repairing it when it's needed, but repairs will only last a year or two before the compressor goes again. Stay away

Love this refridgerator!

So many good features and it looks like a piece of art in the kitchen. We did have one problem with the ice maker but that was quickly replaced and there has been no other issues. One of the nice features of this product is that you are able to set your preferences such as temperature, shelving locations, veggy/fruit bins, etc. The refrigerator was expensive but was worth the price.

This is by far the roomiest refrigerator that we have ever had for its comparable size.
The drawer above the freezer is perfect for keeping all the items you use most often.

Love, love, love this refrigerator. The french door refrigerators offer so much -- a cookie sheet will fit nicely inside - very spacious.

I love the extra drawer with temp I can control. The freezer tray is perfect for pizzas, and the additional drawer within the freezer is great for items I need to find quickly.
