[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge has been working great up 'til now. Had to bring in the technician and service the compressor and evaporating radiator. Apparently, this fridge is known to have a leak there. I was lucky that it happened before my 5yrs was up. LG technician came out and fixed everything at no charge. Fridge is good as new. :)

Freezer compartment pops loudly during defrost, which does not work well. Evaporator fills with ice and impinges the evaporator fan which makes a constant racket. You must manually defrost this pig to make it work. It stopped cooling completely after 4 years of operation. Do not buy an LG refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago, it has good space and looks very nice but we have had to replace the compressor twice. Both times we have had to scramble to save our food and the insulin that requires refrigeration. Both times the repair was a week out.
