[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved into this condo and completely renovated it. the only thing we kept are the appliances. we have had nothing but trouble with the refrigerator. Compressor went out and now it makes a constant buzzing noise. An LG technician is scheduled to come out tomorrow. This is the second technician that has had to come out.

We have had this refrigerate for 3 1/2 years. The ice maker sucks and clogs all the time. Shelves have already cracked and it went completely out last week and had to throw a ton of away. Repair person told me the compressors constantly go out on the LG refrigerators. Wouldn’t buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed reviews. i like the refridgerator when it works, however i have had issues with it working.it has had the FF error code on it for awhile. Did a smart diagnoisis , repairman bought the new parts & installed them. Worked for a couple days yet still had the FF error code.i can hear fan is running.but the same issue is back after a couple days.switched out the freezer fan assembly which included fans & motors. Ice cream is back to soft. I only have ice cream in freezer cause i don't want to loose any more food. We lost a freezer full of food. Emptied out whole fridge for almost 30 hrs with doors open & unplugged. Repairman installed the new freezer fan assembly & defrost heater & thermostat. Still have FF error code. Ice cream was frozen for about 3-4 days. Now it is soft again. Please tell me how to fix my refridgerator. I love it when it works. I can't put food in freezer. Til it's working so i don't loose more food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Consider this your long-term review, because I have owned this for 6 years. I love the features and it works great when it’s working. In fairness, it usually works. I’m just a little grumpy right now because it hasn’t worked for the last three weeks due to a dead compressor. Over the 6 years, it has needed service three times. Two of those were early while it was under the service plan (ice maker and magnetic seals). This third one is not under a service plan (after the first 5 years, it gets absurdly expensive) but the compressor itself is under a 10 year warranty (parts only), which LG is honoring without a problem. The rest of the time, I really like this fridge. Being counter depth, it doesn’t stick out a foot from the counter, but sits nicely in it’s place. You do give up a bit of space inside for it being counter depth, but it still holds plenty for us. That may not suit for a family of six, but should easily work fine for a family of two or three… or even four if you don’t leave old stuff laying around for weeks. The center drawer is very nice as a place for many of the flat deli things and drinks that often take up lots of shelf space. The freezer has two upper shelves that help you keep track of the things you need most often without always have to dig through piles of frozen things. The ice maker storage bin isn’t large, but is plenty for two or three people without ever running out. It fits nicely in the left door, while still leaving room to store things in that door. It holds temperatures well and seems pretty consistent from front to back. Overall, other than the repairs, this is a very useable fridge and I would buy it again. It might sounds like I’m downplaying the repairs, but I’ve owned appliances from almost all the major brands and they all end up needing repair. If anyone made appliances that actually lasted, I would buy those and stick with them, but it seems the days of appliances lasting 20 years are over. This hasn’t been any worse than anyone else’s on that score and it’s very nice to use while working. I think that’s the best we can hope for any more.

To LG's credit they refunded me for that one. Really liking this new one. The craft ice is a nice option. Also like the double door. I just hope this one lasts and the engineers fixed their well known compressor issues!
