Not happy with lg at all spend this much money for a refrigerator and with in a year have to replace the bottom ice maker then a year later both ice makers don’t work and because I live in a rural area nobody wants to come out and work on and when someone does come out the ice maker is so overpriced for what you spend on the refrigerator ain’t worth fixing cause it’s go into break down again the the tech says there’s recalls and nobody tells you lg for sure ain’t going to tell you

About 2 years after purchasing our refrigerator we began having problems with the freezer fan icing up. Just recently the compressor went out so I had a new one installed that lasted a week. Done! Time for a new refrigerator and I am going with a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought the counter depth french door refrigerator in 2020. From the get go the custom ice maker failed. It has been replaced 6 times. The software has been updated. I have used a hair dryer to melt/release the ice balls repeatedly. The last technician told me his neighbor has had 10 replacements!

Our lg refrigerator is beautiful. This refrigerator does come with a lot of mechanical issues. The ice maker clogs up a lot, don’t use on water bottles used for bike riding. The condenser, wire assembly have all been replaced under warranty, but labor is expensive. We just had §550 in repairs done, they are coming back out with same issues, no ice and half the freezer doesn’t work.

We purchased this refrigerator in 2015. Extensive research was done prior to selecting this model. Best features are (1) the small space the ice maker takes and the middle drawer for deli meats, cheeses or drinks.
