Should have bought this one much sooner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced another French Door refrigerator with this model when the ice maker in the older model disintegrated. We were worried about stepping down to the counter depth model, but are now glad we did. There is ample room inside the fridge, lots of storage compartments and options, and the big drawer is wonderful. The lighting is good, and you can see everything easily in view when you open the doors. We no longer "lose" items in the back of the shelves. Despite the shorter depth, you can put an amazing amount of items inside. LOVE the ice maker. It gives ample ice, the size of the cubes is great, and we have not yet had it jam. Hurray! That has to be our favorite feature. Only issues we've had are the little tray in the freezer is mostly in the way when you open the drawer. I wish we could push it back out of the way when needed or just lock it in place, and we may end up just removing it altogether. The linear compressor makes a little more noise than we are used to, but we are getting more comfortable with it. And finally, the plastic used on the crisper shelf is a little cheap feeling and we are careful not to stress it much for fear of breakage. All in all, this was an excellent purchase for us. We are pleased with this refrigerator.

A lot of great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it’s a great refrigerator. I do have on issue that I’m not happy about. I’ve read in the manual and talked to two representatives regarding ice crystals in one area of the freezer. I’ve had the refrigerator since Nov. 2018. I’m being told to manually defrost the freezer because of opening the doors over 28 times a day. I would recommend this refrigerator except for the one issue I mentioned.

Very dissapointed

Constant freeze ups of ice cubes etc. LG tech and the salesman said these products are made to last 3 to 4 years after that they are considered throwaways!
This is NOT acceptable..never another LG product for my family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this about 3 weeks. Love the deli drawer and the 3 crisper drawers. Door shelves are very ample. 3 level freezer is very functional. Initial installation had it tipping forward a bit. Service was excellent in amending that. A leaky food caused us to have to clean under the glass. Directions for that would have been very helpful.
I looked at many brands, this LG has great features!

Quality is disappointing

Literally the very month that the warranty expired on the circuit board, it went out. The fridge is now 3.5 years old and I have had to take it apart twice to fix loud noises coming from the fan motor. I am not sure that I would ever by LG appliances in the future.

Poorly made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this product 3/1/2 years ago and I am very disappointed with it. First of all the chill drawer stopped lighting up for some reason. Recently the refrigerator is not getting cold and the ice machine has stopped makling ice. I have had a repairman out 4 different times to repair the the ice maker and to date it still does not work. I am very disappointed with this product because it was expensive but it does not work. I have spent money on the service and still nothing.
