[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the same model that we bought 13 years earlier. I like that the power light is blue instead of orange. Also the lid doesn't seal as tight, which is good.

Great Freezer Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this freezer is excellent. However, we purchased our first one just over a year ago, and the compressor stopped working. We just purchased a second one and will have the original one repaired. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product. We buy in bulk. For example, 10 lb. packages of various meat cuts from our butcher and my husband loves 10 for 10 sales at our local grocer. So, we needed a freezer to hold everything and still maintain temperature. The capacity is wonderful and the two baskets come in handy for quick items.
I would recommend this to a friend!

COOLS WELL BUT RUNS ALOT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS FREEZER REPLACED A 30 YEAR OLD WHITE BRAND FREEZER. THE COMPRESSOR ON THE NEW GE FREEZER RUNS 2-3 TIMES AS MUCH AS THE OLD WHITE FREEZER DID.

This product fits our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this freezer to replace one of another brand that just quit working. Chose GE because of the positive reviews. We have limited space in our laundry room so this size fits nicely while adding much needed freezer space. Love the power light on the outside so we know it is working. Our other freezer did not have that and we lost everything in it because we found out too late that it had stopped working.

This freezer replaced an GE freezer I had since 1989, it was still working after becoming submerged in a flood at my home, we replaced due to possible health hazard, otherwise would have kept it.
