Great Little Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer to replace a larger upright one. I am pleasantly surprised that although it is less cubit feet. I am able to get everything I had into it that was in my upright. It is very quiet. Seems to keep everything very cold. I like the 2 baskets that come for smaller items. I like to have a freezer for purchasing extra grocery items and meat. This seems like the perfect size for a family of 4.

Stopped working after 6 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing some research and reading a lot of good reviews, I decided to buy this freezer. It was performing nicely for a little over 6 months, then after a lightning storm the power went out and a few days later I noticed a strange clicking noise coming from the freezer and noticed it had stopped working. It wasn't plugged into a surge protector, so maybe that was the cause. When it was working it was very quiet, kept things at the proper temp. and is a great size for our kitchen. It's still under warranty and the service guy will be here in 4 days to fix it. Luckily, I was able to save all the food that was in there.

Good extra freezer for "overflow" items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer does a good job for providing extra storage for frozen foods. However, based on the chest design, it is not always easy to see what is there or access items. It makes for good use for secondary freezer storage but not a primary use source.
