Excellent freezer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer is petite in size but is deceiving because it can hold so much more than it appears. It instantly becomes cold to the touch once plugged in and works great. Haven't had a problem with it so far and it is stuffed. A great product for a great price.

Exactly what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my freezer. All I had to do was plug it in and set the temp. Also happy because it does NOT build up hardly any frost or ice inside. It is exactly what I wanted and as long as it continues to function as it has and provides a reasonable service life I am delighted with my purchase. I really like the fact the controls are simple-no elaborate programming and stuff like that. A simple on and off and temp selection. I like simplicity like that especially when it works so good! It is also light when empty and is easy to move and clean under.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm pleased, but . . .

though the size is just right for two of us, I replaced my old one because the "weather stripping" sealing the lid had aged and hardened to the point that the inside iced-over too fast and required defrosting too often. Unfortunately, there's an obvious air leak near each of the hinges of my brand new one resulting in "fuzzy" ice pile up even when I haven't opened it for days (which does happen).
It is disappointing.

Basic chest freezer at a reasonable price.

I have a quarter beef ordered and this freezer will be more than adequate. It is a basic design, but was in stock at a great price. Nearly all reviews have been excellent. It is quiet and has two plastic-coated wire baskets that seem sturdy. Power on light is a nice feature as well.

Purchased this model and have been very happy with it. It replaces a GE chest freezer that was used for over 50 years (handed down from Grandprents to parents to me). It comes with two baskets where most this size only have one.
