[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this freezer for almost two months. We purchased it to store a bunch of fish my husband caught on a fishing trip. I was impressed that it cooled to freezing temps within a couple hours of being plugged in (I know this because I left a gallon of water inside to see how long it would take) so I felt comfortable putting our fish in right away. It runs very quietly, I hardly notice it's there! Since it's a freezer, we obviously don't do much other than take food in and out. I was a little surprised at how quickly it developed a layer of frost on the inside, but we haven't tried to defrost it yet so it's obviously not that bad. I hope it lasts a long time!

Great capacity freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent medium sized freezer for small families. Roomy inside, quiet and efficient. The two baskets help to keep small items from getting buried in the freezer. We buy large quantities from the local warehouse store, then re-package
the materials in smaller freezer bags and freeze them. We also take advantage of local fresh produce and prepare it and freeze it.This has probably saved us many grocery dollar$.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 7 cuf. freezer gives up great peace of mind, knowing it is here, upstairs, in case the basement freezer goes out. We have run it for a short time when we first bought it, and it worked great!! For now, we are using it for storage of some of my wifes old Nutri System meals. Thats not what you made it to do, but the day will come when the old Norge upright downstairs will go out and we are ready to go. That really is a great comfort in this day and age.

The top 1/3 of the freezer is always so frosted over that any food stored above that line is ruined with frost. I had the GE technician out and he tried to adjust it. But it is still awful. I had a 35 year freezer that worked so much better and had no frost problems. I would never recommend this product to anyone. It was suppose to be energy star - but with all the frost - it is far from energy efficient. I wish I could afford to replace - but I can't
