bad power light. 9 months old and keeps blinking

I bought this 9 months ago and about one month ago the power light started to blink and go in and out. Repair man says that's normal so why even put a power light on it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using this GE freezer for about 7 months and it is working as advertised. I would have liked to get the temperature below 0 degrees, but it is cold enough. It is used in my garage and it does get warm there in the summer, but it does the job. Very quiet running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since i bought the freezer i have had no issues and i think it has served its purpose without any apparent problems i know of.

Working well one year later

We've had this small freezer for about a year now. We are generally happy with it though there is continual frost buildup on the inside back corner on one side. Every so often I break off the build up to make sure the freezer closes tightly. Don't know if a locking lid would help with this situation or not.
