Very good for a small chest freezer

This chest freezer has made a real difference in our food storage. I'm so happy to have second place I can store my frozen foods. It has worked like a charm all summer in spite of being in a hot garage.

economical , lid fits tight, only concern, salesman told me it would run
between 4-7 years. My current chest freezer is 33 yrs old and performing
great. Just replaced a GE profile refrigerator only 10 yrs old . What a
throw away soceity we have been forced to become!

Going to the curb

After several months of use I had to place a service call because the unit was running about 25% of the time. Problem was not fixed and placed a second call. Problem was still not resolved. By then the unit was out of warranty and now runs about 80% of the time. I'm going to get a non-GE replacement and put this hunk of junk on the curb. This is the second GE product less than two years old that I've had to replace. I'll never buy GE again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have had no problems with this and it's got a great amount of space in it. Great price! Wish it had a thermostat, but that's it
