Purchased the freezer with apprehensions due to reviews saying that the unit had problems in the first week upon purchase. Ours has seen no issues and works great storing our garden's bounty!

We bought this freezer so that we could take advantage of sales, particularly of meats and fish. It permits us to buy larger quantities of these items, as well as others, and to be comfortable knowing that when they are ready to use, they have been well-preserved. We are very happy with it.

I bought this freezer about a month before Elk hunting, for elk meat. my wife had filled it up with other stuff before I even went hunting. Looks like I will go get another freezer this weekend. The only thing I do not like about it is that the tempature control knob is in fron right next to the grean power light. The grand kids are atracted to the light & like to play with that knob.

We bought this freezer about a month ago because my husband went hunting for elk and we needed just a smaller freezer for the meat. It is just the right size for that.

Se my response below about ice build up due to poor door seal. Not happy I bought this GE product. My other GE products Microwave and Refrig. are fine
