Perfect size for our needs

Not too big, not too small for my family of 2, but we are not like most families of 2. We cook a lot & we have friends over often for meals. Also, my husband is a hunts & fishes and I garden so we have to have room to put all the harvest.
The freezer is quiet and unobtrusive. I would have liked to have some more organization options included other than just the 2 small drawers, but I ended up finding some plastic baskets to use.

Bought this freezer about three months ago.needed more freezer space ,and this freezer fits the bill.the unit is quite,and takes up very small space.very happy with the freezer.

Good buy for the money

I bought this freezer for it's size and price and because of the GE name. I've been using it for over 2 months now and it freezes as it should (so far).
I do want to point out a few issues I have with it starting with the smooth (but pretty) finish. A textured finish would have been better to spare the top from mars and scratches. Also the handle(s) to lift up the lid/door are on the sides--not in front where they should be and where it is more comfortable to open the lid. Another couple of inches inside from front to back would have made a big difference as well.
The sound it makes while running is a little weird. It's not at all loud, but it has a swooshing kind of low growl noise that I have to assume is normal as it's been working just fine (again, so far).
All in all, for the price, and the size (which was necessary for it's placement in my kitchen), and even with the issues I have with the handles and the untextured finish, I would buy it again and would recommend it to a friend.

With just two of, we didn't need a huge freezer, but one large enough for us to take advantage of sales/stock up on certain items, etc. This freezer has plenty of space for what we wanted.
