Aaaahhhh! The Smell Of Fresh Ground Coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mr Coffee is brand name you can definitely trust in the realm of great home coffee brewing. While this is my very first coffee grinder, this Mr Coffee Grinder didn't disappoint in functionality. I like the look of this grinder, it is modern/sleek looking and I don't mind leaving it on my countertop. I appreciate that it keeps your setting (# of cups & grind texture) as I make the same batch of coffee every morning. I like the "Chamber Maid" feature where you twist the cap to scrape the fine coffee ground off of the side of coffee chamber. I also appreciate that the grinding sequence is very fast as this Mama is on the go in the morning!
Some improvements I'd like to see on this device: 1) I'd like an off switch so I can leave it plugged in on my counter without using unnecessary energy. 2) I wish you didn't have to hold down the lid throughout the grinding process. 3) I wish it was a little quieter for those early mornings when the rest of my family isn't awake (I use pre-ground in those instances as the sound would wake my family). 4) Last and most important to me, I would like the chamber to store the whole bag of coffee beans and automatically dispense the measurement to grind based on my cup selection.
On to the coffee... As I mentioned, this is my first coffee grinder. I had high expectations for the quality and potency of freshly ground coffee in the morning (I like STRONG coffee). I used Starbucks Pike's Place coffee beans. My first attempt I used the "medium" setting when grinding my coffee beans which resulted in "brown water"/very weak coffee. My second attempt I used the "fine" setting when grinding my coffee beans and it yielded a decent cup of coffee. Nothing magical, or life altering. I do know that the coffee maker itself plays a role in the quality of the cup of coffee. For informational purposes, I use a single cup coffee brewer that has a built in reusable/washable filter.
Truthfully, whole bean (that I grind myself) or pre-ground Starbucks Pike's Place tastes all the same to me. There IS though nothing like the smell of fresh ground coffee in the morning! All in all, this Mr Coffee Grinder will get your coffee grinding job done! Top o' the mornin' to ya! ☕

Nice quality, love the smells of fresh coffee

But when it is so fine it normally builds up on sides. Not this model it scrapes the sides Love it and highly recommend

Loving my coffee grinder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mr. Coffee Blade Grinder with Chamber Maid Cleaning System has been a really good addition to my office cofee bar. The compact size of the grinder is perfect for easy storage and use. The detachable grinder container makes it easy to clean. Having 3 selections on the coarseness or fineness of the ground is a very great ability to have, especially if tasting different brews and different coffee beans. The length of the cord is not very long, however, it was great for my set up. You can easily wound up the cord underneath the machine, and it will be organized neatly.
I would recommend this to a friend!
