Poor Features.

I bought this to use in hopes of grinding my own beans, just to discover when I opened it, the cord is only 4 inches long! I can't plug it into socket unless I hold it in my hand. Who does that?! The instructions say it will reduce hazards of pets or someone tripping or getting entangled in cord. I don't walk on my counters! Very disappointed. DO NOT BUY unless you want a laugh!

The most useless kitchen appliance

The cord is literally 3 inches long. The manual said it's to prevent hazards of tripping over it but who on earth walks on their counter top. I tried to make it work by stacking it on pots, pans, bowls but it just looked like the beans would fall out at any moment from the top. Whoever designed this should probably get a career change.
To be fair I'm sure the grinder itself works fine, but it's hard to tell when I can't even use it without stacking it on something just to make it work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an easy fix! It appears that the remaining power cord may still be wrapped around the cord storage on the bottom of the grinder. Please confirm this by turning over the grinder and inspecting the power cord to see if it is indeed still partially wrapped around the cord storage. overheated first use

I can not really rate this just yet because I just started using the second one sent to me .The original grinder purchased at Walmart, $17.99, had to be sent back to your company because it over heated and stopped working first time using it. I was grinding more coffee for the week. I have a Cuisinart grinder I've been using same way and never overheats but need bigger grinder. Guess I'll be looking for a bigger Cuisinart.

With the cord being 5 inches long, you cannot grind anything without holding the unit in your hand. If your outlit is under a cabinet, like most people in their kitchen, you cannot see the buttons on your grinder, so they are useless. Having a grinder with buttons that control quantity and fineness is exactly why people buy grinders. With this cord, it makes any and all features useless. Yes, the cord is 5 inches. No exaggeration.
