[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 6 months ago, used it lightly, and it died a few weeks ago. It was making a horrible grinding noise and it smoked. My last microwave was almost 15 years old. I guess they don't make 'em like they used to. There is no LG service center in my area and it's probably not worth repairing anyway.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great size - fits on a shelf in my kitchen rather than on the counter. For that reason it is great. The only thing is the button to open is rather cheap plastic and I used a paper towel to clean off fingerprint and I scratched it. The light inside is not bright like my old big Maytag one so you have to open door to check out how things are cooking.

Poor quality finish - blistering open door button

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within weeks of purchase, open door button looked like this. No cleaners have been used, this is just due to where our fingers touch the door button to open the door. Otherwise, the product works fine and is compact enough to fit our space, which is what was desired.

Great quality for the price

I bought this microwave to replace a certain model of another brand. Since the other brand fit perfectly in a built-in space, I decided to replace the particular model after it failed after 4 years. The replacement lasted only 2 years, so I was fed up and bought the LG. It doesn't fit as perfectly and doesn't have one feature that I liked on the previous ones, but I expect that I'll have this one for a much longer time!
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still figuring out all the features. This one has a metal rack so you get two shelves inside. Didn't know they did that. So far very impressed. Very powerful. Very large inside - like it would fit a couple of whole chickens. Very easy to clean.

I bought this smaller microwave for my home office - it is compact but has so many features. I am delighted with this microwave, my first LG product and probably not my last.
