Great features counter depth

I am still adjusting to my new refrigerator but like it. I have a 24 yr old GE side by side living in my garage. It has only one repair. I’m hoping this new one will be just as good!

Dim light

There is only one light. It is at the top and so I can't see the bottom couple shelves are dark. Needs more lights. The other problem I'm having is the doors. The have a stopper or something in the hinge that prevents the for from shutting on its own or with a small push. You have to shove it closed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek Design

This refrigerator has a very modern and elegant look. The long door handles give a very sleek but understated look to the face of the appliance. The water/ice maker is also a stand-alone showpiece with a digital display, wide aperture and gray backdrop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Refrigerator is attractive and performs well, but the top shelf is virtually unusable because the light unit protrudes in the middle, meaning you cannpt store tall items - wine bottles, juice pitchers in the middle of the top shelf = its virtually useless. Disappointed in storage room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The size fits my kitchen

The function of water and ice at the door works well. The shelves and drawers are not as practical as the previous model.

Nice and cold

This refrigerator replaced my Cafe which had more amenities on the inside. I had to purchase refrigerator containers to make up for that to which I was accustomed. A new Cafe wasn’t available at the time my old one decided to stop. The good thing was that I could use the Cafe handles to match my range. For that I am grateful. The stainless finish on my new refrigerator shows fingerprints unlike my Cafe which didn’t.

This is my 3rd GE Refrigerator …I didn’t consider any other brand ! It’s dependable , has a very sleek design , & doesn’t take over the entire kitchen space …
