worst money spent on fridge

freezer door doesn’t close tight. it’s only 1 week since we started using the fridge

Very difficult to find Counter Depth, French Door and White color these days. Replacing a Samsung as it looked really nice but stop working.
The GE is good and works well. The interior is a little awkward but we can work with it. The water dispenser does not drip, but you need to make sure you cup you cup under it for a second to get the last drop. The biggest complaint is the fit and finish: Water and ice compartment on door has gaps and looks cheap. The tops of the doors have sharp edges (be careful when cleaning). We are hoping for many good years from GE and maybe switching out other Samsung Appliances with GE too.

This refrigerator is horrible when it comes to storage in the freezer area. The bottom basket is too tiny. You have to take out the top tiny, wobbly shelf to get to the ice maker. The ice maker never shuts off when full so then ice is falling into freezer.
Refrigerator is ok but could have used another drawer. GE should be ashamed of selling this product.

Freezer space impacted by ice and water additions

The oversized ice maker restricts what feels like 1/4 and 1/3 of the freezer space. There is loss of shelving in the door for the dispenser. Cant recommend for a family that preps and freezes and/or buys a lot of frozen items

Everything I wanted and needed!

So exactly what I needed! Not just wanted, but needed! The space I had to work with was limited and this counter-depth side-by-side fits perfectly. The space inside the fridge and freezer are perfect for my needs - knowing how much space you need is key when making appliance decisions. It has to fulfill your needs and function in your space. Having on demand ice and filtered water is priceless to me. This fridge/freezer side-by-side provides everything I was looking for while fitting in my space. So happy with this purchase.
