[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appearance and function of the refrigerator and freezer are good. Water (through the door) appears to be working as is the ice maker. The lighting in both compartments is poor when loaded with food, Each compartment has one light in the ceiling to light the entire space. The lower racks / trays are almost dark. The control panel on the unit is NOT like the information sheet that explains how it operates. The downloadable manual is vague in places. Statements followed by 'your unit may not have this feature' are prevalent throughout the manual. The manual states there is lighting on the ceiling and the sides of each compartment. Ours does not have the side lighting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad sealing

Not sealing properly. The refrigerator-side door gasket is not closing correctly and is not creating a proper seal. This is affecting normal operation

The fresh food and freezer doors on your side-by-side refrigerator have magnetic gaskets that slide into a groove retaining channel, creating a tight seal against the door. It is very easy to adjust or replace the door gaskets on the appliance. Ice marker is junk

We are happy to assist with the icemaker of your refrigerator not making ice. Ice production is dependent on the temperature of the refrigerator. They both must be the same temperature. If the temperature in the freezer is too warm, ice cubes will take longer to form or may not form at all. Try adjusting the freezer temperature a little lower. A clogged filter can also cause the ice not to produce. Try replacing the water filter.
