I hate to do this but the lighting is really bad

We just had this delivered less than 3 days ago and I set the food in 1 day ago after cooling, but noticed the inadequate lighting,Only 1 light at the top of the fridge.. With all the led lighting out there, I would of expected more lights After putting foods on the shelves you have no lighting for the drawers. NOT HAPPY, I want to return, but we are given only 24 hours to return

Attractive, keeps temperatures well

[you won't want to publish this] -- We bought this because we wanted a counter-deep, white, side-by-side refrigerator of a certain maximum width -- and this was almost the only one we could find that fit our needs. I would recommend it to anyone who has similar specifications. It has proved to be very satisfactory. However, I miss the space and organizational flexibility of our old GE Profile refrig. We have adapted to this one (added a large Tupperware box to hold cheeses, for example). I find the ice and water dispenser to be good, but again, not as user-friendly as the older model which had buttons instead of light displays. The filter red light came on within a few months of buying this model. Since we have great local water, we would like to deactivate this feature, but we can't figure out how.

Not as good as my old GE Profile

We purchased this refrigerator three weeks ago to replace a twelve year old GE Profile refrigerator that had a broken freezer. I needed a counter depth in black to match my other appliances. Unfortunately GE does not offer the Profile series in a black side by side unit. The main issues with this refrigerator involve configuration. The shelves in the refrigerator and the freezer could offer more adjustment slots. There are fewer baskets in the freezer. There is no deli drawer. And the worst thing is that there is only one light bulb in the very top of the unit. The bottom half of the unit, including the fresh vegetable drawers are dark. The profile series has multiple lights. Are lights that expensive to install?
I have also had to reinstall the vegetable drawer seal which fell off yesterday. Overall I would rate this unit as acceptable, but If you can stand the Titanium or Stainless I would definitely opt for the Profile. It doesn't appear to have the issues I have highlighted.

Decent unit

I bought this a few months ago. Performing well. Needs additional lighting, stops for the wheels (it rolls easily on tile and wont stay in place) The fridge has lighting on top, but the bottom of the fridge is dark. All in all a good fridge. For the price, you would expect better lighting and the wheel stops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have only had it a few months already needed icemaker repair. Ice maker is pretty miserable.
The ref just has very poor space layout inside there is just no way to organize it. The ice maker takes up lots of room and the bottom drawers in ref are half obstructed by something.
It keeps things cold and it fits in the limited space I have. But I dislike it.

Bought it sight unseen, returned it the next day

I bought this because I needed to replace a 13-year-old GE fridge, and the new one had to fit in the same sized opening. My local retailer didn't have this exact model in stock, so I didn't get to see it before I bought it. This one was essentially a newer model of my old refrigerator, so I assumed it would be just as good. I was wrong.
My main complaint about this unit is the totally inadequate lighting. There is a single light at the top of the refrigerator compartment, but that's' it. Once you stock the top shelf, the rest of the interior is in total darkness.
It was also significantly louder than my old refrigerator. The compartment layout was less efficient than my old fridge, and the on-door freezer storage was useless.
As a final kick in the head, I discovered that the exterior finish is actually paint over ordinary steel -- not stainless as you might expect. I am a lifelong fan of GE appliances, but no longer.

Disappointed with the interior. Design of the interior space isn't nearly as good as my last frig. I would like to be able to see the interior of the icemaker so I can see what's there. There should be more pull out shelves in the freezer and in the main frig. I hope it performs better than my first impressions which are poor.
