I never played the original game, but I heard some good things about this one. I blasted through it in 2 days; about 8 hours. This was a bit dissapointing, but was something a somewhat expected given the genre. The graphics are quite awesome. Probably the best on any modern survival/horror game. The story is okay, but nothing that will make you think about it after playing. The hand-to-hand combat is the best of any game in this genre. And the investigative gameplay scenes are fun and difficult (which makes them fun). I would recommend this game to those that want a quick, frightening spurt of action.
What's great about it: Great graphics, Good Hand-to-Hand combat, Will scare some
What's not so great: Short playtime, Boring multiplayer

great game overall, but i thought that it was far too short, just like the frist Condemned game. Towards the end, the revelation about why the birds were dying and the whole thing about soundwaves and stuff pretty much ruined it for me because it was so cheesy. Anti-clamactic in my opinion. But, alas, if a condemned three came out, i would still buy it.
What's great about it: great game play, good amount of jumpy parts.
What's not so great: Too short, just like the first. The voice thing at the end was pretty cheesy.

Condemned 2 is a really good game. The first game had zero multiplayer this game has you covered. You owe it to yourself to play this game because the voices, nosies you hear in first person view creates so much tension. When fighting multiple enemies at once is a little of a pain. The graphics makes it look like you're in a living breathing city. You always stay in first person view even in the cut scenes. This game may not be perfect but don't let that stop you, because it's an engrossing and engaging game that will keep you coming back for more.So you should definitely check this title out.
What's great about it: Brutal,Sound Effects,Melee Combat,Fun

Condemned 2 is a decent game, however the controls were a bit difficult to master. I was most of the way through the game and I would still forget what button to push at what time. I really liked the mysterious, dark environment you are in. I like games that scare me and have things jump out at ya and that was fun. Overall it was a decent game. I wouldnt spend $60 on it but for around $20 or $30, its a good deal.
What's great about it: the environment you're in
What's not so great: the controls and the graphics
