This little guy sucks up spots like it's nothing. It holds a good amount of water and does not leak. As for the suction power, if you just lift the hose off of the floor and let it sit for a couple seconds it works great. Take your time it is a spot cleaner.

The Little Green carpet cleaner is very loud. Its suction is horrible. It does not pick up liquid messes from carpet or upholstery. Also, the included stain remover solution (after the carpet was dry) gave my black lab such a terrible allergic reaction that it cost me $150.00 vet bill. So much for a “green” product and solution, I took this Little Green Machine back to the store ASAP. Do not buy this product if you have small children or pets.
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: loud, doesn't do as advertised, poisonous/ toxic solution for pets and kids
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

good cleaner for the price...

Although I expected it to perform decently, I was not impressed by the overall deep cleaning performance of this machine. It will definitely for for small jobs, but even with the pet cleaning liquid, it was not fully capable of removing pet urine. On regular spots, however, it did a great job.
What's great about it: small and great for light jobs
What's not so great: it had little cleaning power for pet urine
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted this cleaner since I recently got a puppy -- it's perfect for those "oops" moments in our apartment! Simple to use, efficient, light weight, can store it anywhere... I think it could be slightly less expensive (even by like $10) and you would really get the "bang for your buck" mentality.

From the other glowing recommendations on this site I had high expectations of this product. What wasn't said was that I am supposed to use a special Bissel brand cleaning agent (which I can't find in the stores). Also, after a very short period of time, all of the water/cleaning solution had been used up and I still had a lot of cleaning to do. Why was there very little dirty water in the reservoir? What happened to the water the machine sucked up? The brush and dirty water reservoir are difficult to get really clean. My upholstery did look cleaner, I will admit. Also you aren't supposed to use an extension cord. How do I clean my car out on the driveway?
What's great about it: Good for upholstery
What's not so great: Hard to clean, needs special fluid
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to setup and use, but suction very weak. Hardly any water was sucked into the fill tank, after 10 minutes of going over the same wet sections of chair and couch. Tried on two separate types of material, same thing. It does clean well, but way wetter than I expected.
What's great about it: Easy to setup, use, carry
What's not so great: Needs longer tube, battery adapter for car use?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
