We use it for upholstery, mattresses, car upholstery and carpets and this little thing is amazing for the price. It says it's really only for stains but it can do a lot more than that m. We use it to fully clean all these surfaces and let me tell you it does the job.

I bought my first Little Green and thought it worked great for occasional spills and pet accidents. Just after a year, the Powered TurboBrush broke. I then had to resort to the smaller tool which lasted a few months. I was out of luck because the 1-year warranty just expired. I thought I may have received a lemon so I decided to buy a new Green Machine and the exact same thing happened. When I told my mom about my disappointment, she told me that her TurboBrush also broke. Aside from my TurboBrushes breaking, the Green Machine has other flaws. The dirty tank is impossible to get clean so it always seems like the machine is filthy. The tank also leaks at the bottom which makes the base get dirty and difficult to clean. It might seem like a good investment at first but based on my experience (times two) and my parents as well, it's a waste of your money.

To clean the hose, just take a bowl of tap water and suction the water back up. You may have to do this a few time before clean water comes back. We hope this helps you out!

Horrible to empty and clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the power of the cordless vacuum, better than my previous cordless. However, getting to the dirt at the end of the cylinder is near impossible with out the use of long handled tools. Then the foam rubber around the interior cylinder won't just shake off. You have to use a brush. By then, you have emitted dirt and dust in the air. My previous cleaner had a drop pan, the dirt fell out easily. Sometimes I don't use this because you are supposed to empty it after each use and I don't have the time to deal with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
