we've all played #1 i assume. and had a great time with it. Well playing this i think the ranking system is increadable but too many ranks. I like the offline creation, but why take out so many loved maps from #1? such as the library or casino vault????? those maps were golden with fun for sharpshooter. well i like the terrorist hunt but not the fact that the shotguns still kill you from like 80 yards away. whats with that? all and all its a fun game and i recommend you wait until the price drops 10 dollars because xbox games are way to much.
What's great about it: no problems.
What's not so great: Why would the graphics be worse than call of duty 4's?????

I own the first Rainbow Six Vegas on PC and i loved it, so when i bought this for 360, i had very high expectations set for it, and let me tell you, this game met and beat all of them. Heres the low down of it all...
Graphics: Very good, although i find that on my PC version, it seems to be nicer, although my PC is quite powerful and plays those graphics well, i was expecting a bit more out of the 360 version, especialy since it plays in high def. Although, it wont dissapoint anyone, the graphics are very good.
Gameplay: This is a very enteraining game from start to finish. Despite a generic plot (Terrorists, spec ops and mercenaries) it will keep you hooked. I must say that this is the first console FPS that i actually wanted to finish.
Controls: This sort of goes along with gameplay, but ill put here that im talking about the bare bone controls. The controls for this, once you master them, are very smooth and not clumsy like some other games, for example, Army of Two has fairly clumsy controls and it makes you feel like your character is running drunk. But this game, the controls are very nicely bolted down and will leave you with a sense of pure control over everything.
Online: The online is very well set up here, although not quite as streamlined as the Halo 3 system, it will not slow you down, its very easy to find games and it rarely lags out, as far as i can tell, it may depend on your connection. The only problem i have is, i dont know how to talk over the mic during a game, and it is not clearly marked in the instructions, so ill be asking someone about that.
Overall, a very well set up game, it will leave you satisfied. Unlike Army Of Two, i actually feel like this game is worth the money... speaking of which, Army of Two IS NOT worth paying, its far too short, only 5 missions, including the tutorial.

Well heres my story i preordered Rainbow about two weeks before it came out. So I was really excited but when i started playing it just got boring all you do is just hide behind something and kill a guy. So after that I decided to check out the online and it was horrible since I played Call of Duty so much I just ran around the level and got killed about twenty times. All people do online is just hide behind a corner and thats it and then you just wait. Me and all my friends got this game we played for about a week and then went back to Call of Duty. So what i'm saying is if you want a better quality game just buy Call of Duty.
What's great about it: Good Campaign, Ok online, and customizable character.
What's not so great: The online is terrible and the campaign is way to hard.

If you played the first Rainbow Six Vegas game the only real reason to play this one is to finish the story which I think could have been finished in the first. The graphics are the same. The game play is the same and the online maps are a spawn campers dream. This is a rental at best (unless they can fix the spawn points and make them random like Call of Duty). Rent it to see how it ends but after you play through it once and see how bad the online is you will be done with it and never want to pick it up again.
What's great about it: Finishes The Story That Should Have Been Finished In The First Game
What's not so great: Nothing New, Poorly Designed Online Maps

This game hits the sweet spot for tactical shooting, but falls short in other key areas. Single player and co-op story game play are done well enough, but the story itself has left a lot to be desired. Never feeling like it brings closure to the first game, and shallow when it comes right down to it.
The game play has been tweaked, with modifications to your character that give you a sense of ownership, along with some new weaponry. Glitches have been remedied in story and T hunt for the most part, but the niggling little errors manage to come up every now and then. A little more time in the oven could have made this feel like more than an expansion pack, but for what it gets right...man is it worth it. Visceral, tactical urban combat, baby!
What's great about it: Improved mechanics
What's not so great: Roughly the same as #1, with a slightly worse story

This is a good expansion to the first RSV. They added the running feature, which was a must. The online play is pretty smooth, i've had no more trouble with it than any other game on my 360. The ability to customize your character is also greatly expanded on. For those of you who played the first, part of your rank is transferred over to the second so you don't start from square one. When playing the story mode, the load times can get a little long, but that's what happens when an entire level is loaded at once and it's using an optical disc over flash memory or even a hard drive. The game itself doesn't bring much new to the table, but for those who enjoyed the first, i'd say go out and buy it. I admit, it's not Call of Duty 4, but it's a good game none the less.
What's great about it: running, customization ability

I was a big fan of R6V 1 and was very happy with the sequel. The online co-op is by far my favorite feature, but wish you could have more than 2 player co-op in story mode. Definitely more of the same but in this case I think it is a good thing. Recommended.
What's great about it: Great gameplay, online co-op very fun
