This game is great if you are not using the multi-player function. The co-op and game itself is pretty sweet but it takes way too long to get into a ranked game and then the game only lasts two minutes. If you are looking for a good multi-player game you are better off buying Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.
What's great about it: Great Game play and co-op
What's not so great: The multi-player is slow and sometimes choppy

Overall its not that bad of a game, but online isnt all that great. I wouldnt recommend buying it because it gets boring really quickly. If ur looking for an intense online shooter, Call of Dudy 4 or Gears of War are probably ur best choices.
What's great about it: good campaign and customizable character is cool
What's not so great: online play isnt all that great, EXCEPT terrorist hunt w/ ur friends

This game is a good tactical shooter. There is good co-op support both online and split screen. The online multiplayer is also fun but not as deep as some other games out there. The ranking up system has been changed from the first Vegas so that you can rank up in any mode. This way if you play story a lot and get some sweet weapons you can use them online as well. Ranking up and gaining new things to customize your character with is fun. You can now run which speeds the game up a little bit. The graphics haven't changed since the first Vegas and I even noticed some slowdown on certain parts. Overall the game still feels just like the last couple Rainbow Six games.
What's great about it: New ranking up mechanic and running are good.

I had been waiting for this game ever since I finished the first Rainbow Six: Vegas. When it finally came out I grabbed a copy and enthusiastically dove right in. The story was not what I was expecting but fit the game well. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 has you taking it to the bad guys less in the glitz and glamour of the casinos and more in the warehouses, construction sites, and public facilities. One thing that has received some knocks but I think is a great addition is the improved Persistent Elite Creation (PEC). Instead of only being able to rank up on line, the game also rewards you for playing the single player campaign and the terrorist hunt. I like this for two reasons: first, it allows players to get some better equipment before playing in online multiplayer and second, it allows players who do not play games online to get something out of all the time the put in on single player. The second part is particularly important because the game starts you off with very limited options as far as equipment and the only way to unlock better equipment is through advancement in PEC. The graphics are solid. There isn't anything groundbreaking here, but the game looks great nonetheless. The multiplayer is decent. It is not the best multiplayer, but it holds its own and is fun to play. Modes such as Team Leader and Conquest are fun. The maps however are simply not as good as some of the maps that were featured in Rainbow Six: Vegas. That has not stopped me from playing it though. This is not the best game out there right now, but it does stick with a proven formula that was established with Rainbow Six: Vegas and is a great tactical first person shooter. If you liked the first one, as I did, you will like this one.
What's great about it: Solid Graphics, Decent Multiplayer, and an improved PEC system.
What's not so great: Multiplayer is not as deep as desired.

Story mode on coop is pretty fun when playing with a friend. My favorite is to play terrorist hunt online with 3 other friends. Plenty of different online modes to play. Many people complain saying this is just an expansion to the first one, but they made a few changes, all new maps, and gameplay is great! Highly recommended!
What's great about it: Solid story, terrorist hunt online is fun, good all around shooter.

The plot is positioned as running in parallel with the first game but has a lot a greater variety of locations that just running through casino after casino.
What's great about it: Puts you right in the middle of the action

RSV2 is a decent game and worth a look to anyone who is either a fan of the first game or looking for a shooter with decent online play. The single player story mode is still fun even though I couldn`t really see the link between Vegas 1 and Vegas 2. There are some minor graphic glitches. Terrorist hunt is one of the most fun game modes to play. The ACES system feels very unfinished. Since once you get all 3 catagories to level 20 you keep getting aces points in each catagory but there are no more expierience point rewards. The multiplayer versus isn`t as fun as in RSV1. As ubisoft took out the unlimited respawn option is all of the game modes except 3. The multiplayer maps are as fun as in the last installment. Overall not a bad game and not an overly outstanding game. Just somewhere in between.
What's great about it: Good Single Player , Terrorist hunt is fun
What's not so great: The multiplayer versus isn`t as fun as in RSV 1
