great fit

We have had to have the unit serviced twice. All about a noisy and squeaky door. First guy ordered a bushing made of plastic. Second guy could not install it and decided to reverse the washer setup. Door still squeaks a little probably only a matter of time, good thing we purchased the extended warranty. Also noticed on hot and humid days there is a slight ice buildup around the freezer door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Attractive, spacious refrigerator.

We replaced our very old refrigerator with this model. The smudge-free stainless exterior is very nice, as are the glass shelves and adjustable door shelves. We needed something that would fit in a small space and this fit the bill. The interior of the fridge seems more spacious than our previous model. The freezer seems less spacious. Also, with the freezer shelf adjusted as we have it, a tall water bottle won't fit. If we lower the freezer shelf, there's not enough room below it. We had to monitor and adjust the temperatures. They were often above 40 degrees and 0 degrees at the recommended setting. Now, they seem in the proper range most of the time. We have noticed ice forming on items in the freezer. Overall, we're happy with the purchase.

We love the lighting and the shelving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer temperature, at the coldest setting, ranges from 0 to 15 degrees. The warmer temperature is for a long enough period of time to cause frozen water droplets, frost on food, and icing.

Sleek Model But Having Issues with Freezer Frost

I've owned my Frigidaire Gallery Refridgerator for just over a year now. It's sleek looking and I like the lighting feature. My own big issue that seems to be building up is I get a LOT of freezer frost, especially on one side which is on the food and ceiling of the fridge. I can't figure out what's causing all this.

Hi Yaffamo, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I understand that you are experiencing frost in your freezer section. I would suggest testing your door gasket. The best way to test this would be to place a dollar bill between the body of your refrigerator and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If nothing is stopping the door from closing then we would suggest a replacement door gasket. Kindly, Jennifer

great features and doesn't show fingerprints!

I love the shallow meat and cheese drawer and the 2 crisper drawers are a good size, nice and deep. The bonus though is that it doesn't show smudges or fingerprints!

Poor build quality

Received a new delivery yesterday and I was very disappointed with the build quality.
The back panel bottom has a cover made of cardboard. The quality of cardboard and the way it is screwed onto the fridge body looks worse than a grade 4 school project, you have to search the internet to figure out that the cardboard has a real purpose, otherwise you are tempted to assume it is just part of packaging , and discard it.
The door handles tether to a screw on the front panel. The pre-drilled hole for this screw looks like it was drilled by a grade 4 student, in a hurry. The metal is all distorted around the hole and the screw does not go in perpendicular. There is no precision. Even after careful installation of handle, there are gaps between the handle and body and handle has slight play. This again is due to lack of proper precision in manufacturing.
The very bottom of the front side has a grille , that needs to be snapped on to cover the wheels. Same issue, the precision with which is snaps on is again very clumsy. It can never be installed perfectly.
The packaging all around the new fridge is also frustrating to remove. No matter how careful you are ,you will be left with un-removable plastic remnants all over the place. The adhesive used is also very poor quality and leaves glue marks all over the place.
I don't know if it is just bad luck, but , we had another major problem. We turned on the appliance as per instructions, 24 hours later it is still not cold. No idea what is going on.
We called the retailer and fortunately, this fridge is going back for a replacement.
Dear Fridgedair, it is 2016. I cannot believe that make precision fitting parts can cost that much. Fridge is supposed to last 20+ years. Please update your quality standards.

Noisy and inefficient

My new frig is the noisiest frig I have ever had. Also, ice cream and novelty items do not stay hard in the freezer. Is not worth the money.

I have had my refrigerator only a few days. I like the style, but my refrig stays about 40 degrees and the freezer is about 15 to 20 degrees. I turned the control to the coldest. I will see what this does
