I was searching for a turntable that would be able to work with a 30 year old component system, and it certainly does that well. The sound is amazing. What bothered me is I needed the experts (additional cost) to put the platter on, attach the drive belt and to teach me to operate the unit. What ever happened to "out of the box" use?
Limited, but how much does one need to enjoy vinyl? You only have two options for speed, the platter doesn't run very flat, and there's no way of gauging whether or not the platter is spinning at the correct rate. However, it DOES sound amazing, and the controls are super intuitive. Auto stops when records are done, and even comes with an up/down option, for pausing, or in the attempt to skip tracks. PERFECT for a first time unit, but don't expect much from it if you've used turntables before.
Instructions Stink : My Dell Was built 11.23.17 with windows 10 but your instruction booklet and my desktop are not the same. What your instruction book pictures is not what my screen shows. I'm still trying to program this thing in. Short from throwing it out the window.................
It is a good stereo turntable for the money. Has 33 & 45 rpm speeds but does not have a 78. Also the stylus does not incorporate a locking system if you want to move the unit. You can cover the needle but you can not lock the arm.
I did a lot of research and did not want to spend hundreds of dollars.. I also wanted to connect to speakers and not worry about sound. This fit the bill... one feature was an arm that lifts onto the record and returns when finished. It does this. It also had Bluetooth to add speakers which I did... Putting the turntable together was not difficult. The speakers were a little more difficult to make them work.. it’s all together and the sound is fine for my old 60’s records, (vinyls)... Glad I was able to connect and have it working and enjoying the music.
