Good, but not outstanding. Mainly fixable issues though

Had the Lumia 920 now for about a month, so wanted to share my thoughts.
On the whole, I've enjoyed the Nokia. The camera is excellent, which was my main reason for buying it. I like the operating system too - nice to use, and pleasantly different after having an iPhone for the last 3 years.
I'm not blown away though, but I believe the problemsI have can be fixed with a software update - whether they will be fixed is another issue.
My main gripe is the apps. Sadly windows phone is a bit of an after-thought for developers, so if they bother to get around to a windows phone app, it'll be flung together with what's left of the budget, with little thought to testing or functionality. The apps that are there seem to be more worried about how they can get money out of you, so that either involves obtrusive adverts, over-priced in-app purchases, or just too expensive to begin with. Many don't come with features available on other apps or on the mobile website, which is frustrating.
Other than that, a few other niggles - for example when using the music player, spotify, youtube etc, there is no scrubbing, which would allow you to jump to a specific point in the track. With some, you can hold down FF and it jumps forward, but not all.
I find the volume quite frustrating as well. The difference between level 0 (sound off) and level 1, is quite big, whereas the difference between 1 and 10 isn't that big. You'd expect it to get louder gradually - unfortunately because of this, if you're in quiet, you have no choice but to turn sound off or you'll disturb people.
Also on sound, when wearing headphones, the ringer and alerts play out through the phone rather than in the headphones. I'd expect when the headphones are in, then the phone should be muted, with all sounds playing through the headphones only.
All in all, it's been positive - but it would be great if some software updates could remedy my gripes, and would be even better if we can get some better apps on marketplace with attention on a good user experience rather than ways to monetize.

Excellent Phone except Battery

Love the phone but after hard reset, uninstalling skype and skydrive, turning off nokia drive, etc ...
On some cases would loose all my battery in 3 hours. Know it is a bug but charging sometimes takes 6 hours.
Getting a replacement and will comment again once I give this awesome phone another chance hopefully with good battery life this time.

Smooth, quick, responsive, feels very good in hand, awesome camera, very good GPS

WP8 is smooth. It might not have a zillion apps but has enough for my daily use. I am happy. The phone itself is a very good piece of hardware. Feels like a premium device in hands. I like the bulk and the tough polycarbonate finish. The screen is a gem to look at. The processor is zippy and flipping through the apps is crisp and fast. The camera is awesome. I really mean it. Love the panorama feature and the #2instawithlove app. Storage is pretty good and all the basic apps I need is there. I think WP8 is catching up there. There are several good Nokia apps that are very handy. Specially the GPS. It is loads better than the Bing. The Nokia scout comes handy while vising places. The only con would be the battery. Runs out pretty fast. Needs charging everyday. Other than that its very good piece of hardware.
And one more thing: It does not need the Zune software to interface with a PC. Its a WP8 thing, not specific to Nokia, but just thought I should mention. Makes syncing much faster.
Pros: Personal, Business, social networking

Love at first touch!

My review will be simple. I love this phone. I previously had a Lumia 900 and it was terrific. When I saw the Lumia 920, though, I had to have it. It was love at first touch. It is so easy to learn how to use this phone. Very intuitive! Great screen, amazing camera!! More and more apps available every day. I have been responsible for 5 people switching to the Lumia 920.
All I need now is a Nokia tablet to go with my 920!

A Truly Great Phone

I have had several flagship Android phones and the iPhone 3g and 4s. The Nokia 920 is my favorite. I cannot imagine going back to Android. The UI on WP8 is so smooth and intuitive. I do miss the larger selection of apps available with other I am sure that problem will be corrected in time. Wish I had switched sooner.

I have had the iPhone 3, 3gs, 4, 4gs, and 5 and I feel I have upgraded to a whole new level. This phone can do so much it's ridiculous. I absolutely love the speed and apps it can have. I also love the way you can connect to Facebook and Twitter.
